Welcome to the 5th edition of the Community Quiz Challenge...Awards/Award Winners. Quiz authors taking part in this game created "Award" quizzes. All of them appear in the 'Community Quizzes' category. No one knows what the others will come up with, so it is a game for both authors and quiz takers. You are encouraged to take all of the quizzes in this group, compare them, rate them and send comments to the authors. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I decided to base my quiz on the "Ig Nobel Prizes" - awards given for actual scientific "achievements that cannot or should not be reproduced" - and no, I'm not making this up - these are genuine awards and apparently much coveted in the science community! Thanks to the awards' sponsors, the Institute of Improbable Research, for the information. Hope you enjoy reading about them as much as I did!
