My third career in life is consultant to independent travelers in France and Belgium (but I have been inactive for four years). I moved to France in 2002 and I’m never leaving.

However, this quiz concerns Spain which I have visited numerous times now. The border is 20 minutes from my home by car, 3km as the bird flies. I was hiking up at 3000 feet on the border just last week.

Spain - very much an up and down country (no wonder Cortes liked Mexico!) - also offers outstanding sights.

I lived in Spain for four years, but unfortunately only saw southern Spain. I wish I had seen some of these other parts. Beautiful country and people.
