Wedding Bouquets

Flowers at a wedding date back to ancient times, but they were usually worn as garlands in the hair. Often herbs were incorporated into the garlands, for a variety of purposes. Garlic was used to ward off evil spirits, while dill was used to incite lust!
The bouquet as we know it today is a relatively new development with a few changes in style and popularity over the last 100 years.
