The Greatest Stories I Ever Heard Sung: Country

The last story song quiz I did was from the rock genre. This time I've taken to the country side of the coin. Nearly all country songs have a story to them...whether they be about lost loves, heartbreak, drinking, mama, trains, trucks and truckers, or cowboys. I've chosen 12 for this quiz and for those here who love country music these songs should bring back some great memories. Even you die hard rockers on here have probably heard these story songs as a few of them even made the rock charts! As before, I'll describe the song and or story, maybe name the artist, and you name the song. Have some fun ya' all and thanks....

I am not surprised that I missed #9 since I had never heard that song before, but I like Conway very much.
All of these were familiar but I couldn't match them up. Drat! Excellent Kerblunk though.
Hey, this was fun. i love country songs and a lot of them are the saga songs, and a lot of those are weepers. I missed the one by Conway Twitty. I never cared for him anyway.
