The Name of the Game - Early TV Game Shows
![]() |
Quiz shows have always been popular. Just like in Sploofus, people get to test their knowledge against other people's. I have chosen ten early television game shows. I hope you remember them. They were fun! Good luck and thanks for taking my quiz.

I can see why you are high up there on the quiz author leaderboard. Some of my best scores have been on your quizzes. You choose very interesting topics. Thanks and keep them coming.
I was delighted to see that last question about "You're In the Picture." I remember that turkey-- and the host found a way to continue it as a spontaneous variety show!
I believe you may be incorrect about question #3. Bud Collier was the voice of Superman on radio and was also the host of Break the Bank.
Great quiz! I watched a ton of game shows growing up - they just don't seem to make 'em like they used to.
