The Top 10 Moments on David Letterman's Shows

Last week David Letterman marked a landmark in his late night TV hosting career. He has been a late night fixture for the past 25 years, first on NBC and now on CBS-TV in the Ed Sullivan theatre. The week he debuted on NBC, The Associated Press wrote: "The spontaneity and surprise of 'Late Night with David Letterman' is a welcome liberation from conventional talk shows." His Top Ten lists have been fan favorites for years. Personally I would have liked to have seen David's brief eulogy to Warren Zevon on the list, or the time Jonathan Winters made a surprise appearance when Robin Williams was a guest and the two of them riffed off each other leaving David speechless. Or even the very very first show when Bill Murray was the guest and performed "(Let's Get) Physical." Anyway, here, according to amNY, a NYC news daily, are the "Top 10 Letterman Moments" spanning his late night career on NBC and CBS.
