This is part of my continuing series on general history trivia. The quiz is a general quiz from politics, to movies, to music to just about anything else going on. This quiz has some very short and easy questions as well as some very detailed and long winded questions. I have always limited the quizzes to ten questions, but this year is so very pivotal that I feel it has to be longer, otherwise too many important events will be skipped over. I had to skip far more than I would have liked to. I may have to add another 1961 quiz because this one feels so very incomplete. I have used a wide variety of resources from http://timelines.ws/20thcent/1961.HTML,IMBD,Time, Newsweek, The Blood Horse, and other assorted sources ( from the National Geographic Channel, the History Channel, and the Military Channel). I hope that you enjoy the quiz and will seek out the rest in the series. Some of the quizzes in the series are very easy with simple questions and some have very in depth background information and then relatively simple questions.
