Welcome to the SPLOOFUS class of Australia 101! Each week, girls and boys, you will have an opportunity to travel all over our beautiful country, being a tourist from the comfort of your own computer. I shall mark your homework, and include two of the most poorly-answered questions somewhere in next week's itinerary. Eventually you'll all know everything about Australia and not have to come here.
No, no! Only joking. It would be wonderful if you could come and do all these things for real!

Australians will be handicapped. They will have to answer the questions with one hand tied behind their backs.

The questions are rather long, so if you answer quickly that's fine, but I encourage you, when you have finished, to retrace your steps and read all the information. It will come up in future quizzes and you will improve your chances of doing well if you do your "homework" after the quiz.

The information comes from my love of our country helped out by Google from time to time.
