When she wanted to wander
Would fly through the air
On a very fine gander

Mother Goose had a house,
It stood in the wood
Where an owl at the door,
As a sentinel stood.

Many nursery rhymes have their origins reflected in history. Most of their origins are British. Dissent against the royals and government were punishable by death. Nursery rhymes were used to ridicule or poke fun of the royal and political events of the day. This quiz takes a look at the origins of some of the nursery rhymes we all learned as children. There are a couple of questions just for fun. I hope you enjoy this quiz. Don't forget to rate it. Thanks!
