Those of you who are old enough will, I'm sure, remember that electric night when 24 million people gathered round their TVs to watch ice dancers Torvill & Dean win Olympic gold for Britain with their spectacular 'Bolero' - and for those that are not, it was on 14th February 1984. Which means that the 25-year 'anniversary' was on 14th February 2009, and here in Britain it was celebrated with a prime time TV documentary about them and that momentous event.

In fact, they are prime time TV stars now in their own right with their hit 'reality' ice dance show, "Dancing on Ice", now in its fourth year. In this show, celebrities team up with professional ice dancers and learn to skate in a few weeks under Torvill & Dean's tutelage and supervision, with the finalists getting to perform a version of 'Bolero'. The last two series went on live tours afterwards, and an Australian version has also started.
