Tribute To Waylon Jennings - FITB

gypsyladyGypsylady on 06/14/2006

TributeToWaylonJenningsFITB Photo Waylon was born in Texas (1937-2002). He was with RCA Recording Studio in Nashville for nearly 20 years. He became dissatisfied and took control over his own music, mostly because he liked doing things his own way. He was married to Jessi Colter (known for her recording of "I'm Not Lisa"). Waylon was the bass player for Buddy Holly & The Crickets. Had he not given up his seat on the plane that night to the "Big Bopper", he would have died in the crash which killed Buddy Holly and the "Big Bopper". This bothered him for several years. Waylon was part of the "Outlaw" movement, along with Willie Nelson, with whom he did many duets. He will be sadly missed. I need you to fill in the blanks. Thanks, and Please rate my quiz when you are finished. uclonewolf3
