Truman Capote's "In Cold Blood"

|Most of us are familiar with the Clutter murders from November 1959 which was detailed in Truman Capote's famous book "In Cold Blood." The book details the brutal slaying of Herb Clutter, his wife Bonnie, 16 year old daughter and 15 year old son. The book is considered the originator of the "non-fiction novel," later to be called the New Journalism movement.|
A tremendous movie of the same name was also released in 1967 starring Robert Blake.
