Tuzilla's P. R. China Quiz

Welcome to the May Community Quizzes -- a game for quiz takers and makers.

What a surprise! I am doing a quiz about People's Republic of (P. R.) China. Well, I do have a lot invested, so to speak, there. The People's Republic is the mainland country, whereas The Republic of China (ROC) is the island of Taiwan and its associated smaller islands. Most of the questions will deal with Chinese food.
Aside from 7,000+ years of studied culture and over 1.3 billion people, it has a diversity of landscape equaled by the United States.
The biggest challenge in developing this quiz was picking the approach and how to make it a fun and fair quiz with a reasonable level of difficulty instead of an 8 or 9.
I hope you find it enjoyable and enlightening, and maybe in an hour you will hunger to do another of my regular China quizzes.
