Welcome to the January CQs, a game for quiz takers and makers.

Skiing has been a winter passion for me since my teens. Over the years I have served as a ski patroller, ski instructor and was even on the State of Michigan's Ski Area Safety Board for 8 years. I enjoy both downhill and cross country skiing. This quiz will be some random things about the great sport of skiing.

The picture is my favorite skiing activity, skiing in deep powder.

great quiz. never understood skiing though. why would you throw yourself down a mountain with two boards that have been waxed to a glass like slickness strapped to your feet carrying two poles with sharp pointy ends on them.
