Unique Voices in Rock and Pop Music

Unique singing voices...you know 'em. You hear the first line of a song on the radio and it's instant. Doesn't matter if you've never heard that song before, you know who the singer is immediately. I desperately wanted to include Joey Levine from the Ohio Express but my "compassion" lessons jumped up and bit me on the nose. Maybe a little too obscure.

I believe the following artists fall into the instant acknowledgement category. This doesn't mean to say they are all classically trained or even that I like 'em. I'll give you a lyric from one of their hits and you name the artist. If you don't know the answer, just think about the voice that sticks in your head. And I also believe love's a prima donna....
