Vincent van Gogh was born March 30, 1853 in the Netherlands, in a town called Brabant. He was the son a minister and actually attended a seminary. He failed as a teacher and a principle and was not hired as a minister. He tried to be a missionary and became a self taught painter. Anyone seeing his paintings at the Van Gogh Museum next to the Rijksmuseum in Amsterday should plan at least four hours. His work is captivating. This quiz is about his life's work.
