This quiz is about Most Valuable Players (MVP) in either the American League (AL) or the National League (NL) through the 2007 season, and some players who didn’t quite make it. Don’t worry about what year they won it, that’s definitely not my bag. Most times, I’ll give you the year. Having said that, for the purposes of this quiz, the MVP as we know it under the Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA) started in 1931. Those awards given as the Chalmers Award (1911-1914) or the League Award (1922-1929) are not included. Barry Bonds has 7 MVP’s, and none have asterisks - yet. And no one else has more than 3 - yet.
