Floriography, the language of flowers and plants, was developed during the Victorian era as a means of communication. Because of the restrictions on expressing feelings, flowers and floral arrangements were used to send coded messages. I will describe a situation and ask what flower would be appropriate to 'voice' a meaning, or what the symbolism of the flora received would be based on the situation.
