|The two main temperature scales are Centigrade (Celsius) & Fahrenheit, but can you convert one to the other? Centigrade means consisting of or divided into 100 degrees & also designates the Celsius temperature scale. The Celsius scale relates to the Fahrenheit temperature scale by the equation C = (F-32) divided by 1.8.|
The Fahrenheit temperature scale is named for Gabriel Fahrenheit who devised this scale. The Fahrenheit scale relates to Celsius by the equation F = (C x 1.8) + 32.
Now all you have to do is know one of the temperatures & you can work out what the other one is. I hope this is an informative quiz as well as fun. GOOD LUCK!!
