Where did I END UP?
![]() |
There are familiar place names, which are also names of other less familiar places. An example would be Alaska. The first thing that comes to mind whenever we speak of Alaska is that it is a state of the USA, but there is a place of the same name in the state of Michigan. So my question might go like this: A) My friend invited me to join him on a trip to a place I thought is the "Last Frontier State." B) But I thought wrong, he brought me instead to a small community within Caledonia township Kent County about 15 miles SSE of downtown Grand Rapids of the US state dubbed the "Wolverine State." Where did I end up? The answer would be "Alaska, Michigan." Statement A will provide information on a famous city/state/province where I wanted to visit; while statement B will provide information on the state/province/country I ended up in, where the town/city with the same name as the city/state/province of statement A is located. So you need to give 2 answers per question. You have to think twice as hard and I hope you will have twice as much fun! (Note: the stories about the mode of transportation are just made up, any similarities to actual events are merely coincidental. LOL) Have a pleasant trip!
