As you peruse the restaurant menu and dabble in fine dining, you are drawn to those foods with fancy names like Caesar Salad. So, you have to know the ingredients, before ordering, to be sure you are not allergic to something. Some allergies are called "I can't eat that many calories" or "too rich for my blood". You know the ingredients, like the above salad with romaine lettuce, croutons dressed with lemon juice, olive oil, egg, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper and maybe Anchovies. Do you know who the Caesar of salad fame was originally? Guess from this list: 1) Gaius Julius Caesar of Rome and Shakespeare notoriety 2) Sophisticated Cesar Romero the "Don" in the the original "Ocean's Eleven" or 3) Caesar Cardini a Mexican born Italian cooking in Tijuana? If you know your Tijuana salad you may have been to 2nd Street and Main, Tijuana but probably NOT in the 1920's when Cardini was supposed to have created the recipe. This quiz lets you know a lot of famous food origins. Good luck.
