Who Recorded These "Lost" Pop Gems? ('67 - '72)
![]() |
Too many brickbats and not enough bouquets with this feisty little number I would think. These are the same songs I listened to on Radio 4MK Mackay back in the days when I still had a hint of youthful innocence. A lot of these I had to dig up on the net to listen to again. They all still sound great to me but you may remember them differently. They were all Top Forty hits somewhere in the world. Mainly Britain, Europe or the U.S. No obscure Aussie or Kiwi recordings here but plenty of forgotten songs. Hopefully there's a memory or two for everyone. I will give you a lyric, the name of the song, and the year it was released if you can give me the recording artist/s..Once more into obscurity....

Wow! That is the hardest quiz I have done yet. Just when you think you know a lot, along comes a quiz like this.
The Grassroots also did "The Days of Pearly Spencer" in '68 or so. I would have got that one right. . . unlike most of my answers, LOL.
Sometimes things are lost for a reason. Enjoyed the quiz.
