Do you believe that we could be the only intelligent life in the universe? Umm - it seems unlikely to me, too. Knowing that there are billions of planets just in our own galaxy, and that there are billions of galaxies out there in the universe, for us to be on the only one to have developed complex life doesn't seem possible ... but then, the path needed to develop that sort of life is so specific and complex in itself that perhaps it is *just* possible that we are, perhaps not the only one, but maybe one of just a few, that may have successfully followed it. Let's have a look at this path, and what we're doing to try to ruin it! Please note the questions are long. Info from a lifetime of fascination with TV programmes, books and now websites on these sorts of subjects! This particular quiz was inspired by the recent UK TV series on The Power of Earth.
