Although it wasn't the very first rock festival, Woodstock, in most people's eyes, started the phenomenon. Music festivals are enjoyed throughout the world in some amazing locations, attracting thousands of music lovers and hundreds of bands. I shall describe a music festival which is held somewhere in the world. I'll give a few little clues for you to identify the country which hosts the festival. Enjoy!

Hi.. I had no idea that the Big Day Out has been going for so long! Time flies! The media latched onto the death of that young girl with a vengeance, claiming that the police dogs were to blame for her panicking and taking an OD of ecstacy. It was said that if she hadn't seen the dogs, she wouldn't have worried about them sniffing out the tablets and perhaps she'd still be alive... food for thought eh? Good quiz.. thanks!
Haven't been to a festival since Sunbury in '73. As soon as they have one in Cairns I'm there!
