Major League Baseball didn’t award World Series MVPs until 1955, when Johnny Podres of the Brooklyn Dodgers took it home with a sparkling complete game victory over the archrival Yankees in Game 7. Since then, pitchers have most frequently won the World Series MVP. This quiz recognizes some of the position players who’ve taken home the trophy.
