You Don't No Nuttin' Bout English
![]() |
I had to take a class last year called History of the English Language. Although the textbook was very painful to read, the class itself was interesting. The instructor was amazing too. Not only was he fluent in Latin, he could also read and speak Old and Middle English. I thought that was fascinating, especially since they have been dead languages for years. This quiz is all about the origins of the English language. I know that may not sound interesting, but if you study it you will find that there were great struggles to keep it alive. I hope you enjoy this quiz and as usual, please rate when you finished. Sources: The Story of English by Robert McCrum, Robert MacNeil, and William Cran and Wikipedia.
