Fun Sitcoms I've Loved For Years (The 50s)
![]() |
Remembering the 1950s we should recall that not many families had a TV, and those that did were entertained with test patterns the majority of the time as TV stations only broadcast for a few hours a day. Those Americans that did have TVs witnessed the birth of a TV genre which would later become known as situational comedies (sitcoms). Shows such as I Love Lucy, Make Room for Daddy and The Honeymooners and many more, not only made there way into our living rooms, but into our hearts as well. Most of us only know these shows from reruns, and as the sitcoms from the 50s aren't aired on today's TV (unfortunately) as much as they should be, you're familiarity with some of these shows, and and the answers I seek may be a little more "strained" than it will be on the 60s and 70s sitcom quizzes, so, shake the dust free from your memories of TVs yesteryear and lets begin. Following will be 3 (hints) to correctly answer the question. As the giving of the major characters (in some cases) would simplify the quiz too much, these hints come in the form of minor characters from the show or something very familiar with or associated with the show in question. I've had a great deal of fun recalling all the memories while creating this little sitcom quiz series, and here's hoping you find it "Fun" and enjoy it too. Good Luck.
