Looking For Food During Chinese New Year?
Bigmama60 on 02/13/2013
The Chinese New Year for 2013 falls on February 10, and the celebrations last for two weeks. The zodiac animal for this particular year in the twelve-year cycle is the black water snake. The black water snake is the sixth in the cycle of the Chinese Zodiac 12 animal signs. Millions of people will travel to be with their families for the new year celebration. This is considered to be the biggest mass human migration on the planet. Many people will be cooking in their homes. migrants will travel home to China while others will head to the Chinatowns in their cities to celebrate the "Year of the Snake". Since some of us won't be traveling to China; I thought it would be nice to travel in this quiz and check out the menus. Maybe you'll want to cook your own Chinese recipes and learn a little about the "Black Water Snake" as well. Are you hungry? I hope so; I have some good stuff for you. Enjoy As usual thanks for taking my quiz.
