A Meaning to an End

A plants botanical name is always written with the genus first, followed by the species, then followed by either the variety or cultivar name. But oftentimes there will be a word after the species, or maybe the species itself, that describes a distinct characteristic of the plant, such as its color, size, growth habit, origin, etc. This gives a clue to what the plant looks like and aids in the ID process. . See if you can match the species name to the correct description in the following 10 questions. Please rate it at the end, thanks.
